There's lots of great help on Blender available, but be warned that it's a very complex program that solves very complicated problems. You'll need some effort to learn it.
My favorite blender tutorials are found in a free e-book:
It covers the modeling aspects of blender as well as anything I've encountered, and I think it's easier than the 'official' tutorial to understand.
Good Luck!"

" Which 3D graphics program can create awesome graphics but doesn't have a huge learning curve? I have some experience with Blender 3D but was looking for something that is more powerful. I want something that can make graphics that have a sense of realism, if there is a good Blender tutorial of this, then please let me know. Terry B replied: "It depends on what you are looking for as far as a finished product.
One thing to consider is what elements are you dealing with.
Some of the best landscape rendering programs like View 5, and Bryce 6, really do a terrible job at actually modeling, yet programs like 3D studio, Cinema 4D, Solidworks, etc, are excellent modelers. And even though they are excellent modelers, you are going to have a tough time in those if you want posable human figures, which leads you to a program called Poser..... I have found that there is no single program that will "do it all". Even after a very successful render you will always seem to have a need a touch up a render in photoshop to make things just the way you want them. Hope that helps." |
